Any child can come to Dana Gray Elementary School (1197 Chestnut Street) to receive a FREE BREAKFAST and/or a FREE LUNCH from June 10 through July 9. Breakfast is served 8:00-8:30 a.m. and Lunch is served 11:00-11:45 a.m. Mondays through Fridays. Kids can just drop in during service time.
We’re happy to accommodate groups of children. If you are bringing a group please call the kitchen in the morning and leave a message saying how many will come, so they’ll have plenty ready for you 961-3648.
Free meals are only available to minors during the dates and times listed.
Meals are provided by Fort Bragg Unified School District and USDA. USDA and FBUSD are equal opportunity providers and employers.

FIRST FRIDAY - Photo of the Month - Featured photographer John Birchard’s new image, Mendocino Sunset Panorama, 38” x 14” ultra-wide-pano landscape photo debuts starting First Friday, April 3rd, 2026 at the Mendocino Coast Photographers Gallery, Fort Bragg, CA. This exhibition continues all month.

Join us and have a look at the Featured Photo of the Month by John Birchard, snacks, lots of wonderful photos and ceramics and to meet the other members of the gallery.

Please note that rain and/or temperatures exceeding 95 degrees Fahrenheit will cancel Saturday’s Farmers Market Reading Time. The Ocean Wave Quilt Guild in Fort Bragg is having their 30th annual 2 day quilt show, "Gardens by The Sea", Saturday June 27th 10-5 and Sunday 28th 10-4. They will be selling tickets for their beautifully designed opportunity quilt with the same title "Gardens by The Sea", the quilt size is 72" x 92". The tickets are $5.00 ea. or 3 for $10.00. There will also be over 150 quilts on display, great vendors, fabulous basket raffles and a featured artist. A new venue added to the quilt show this year is The Country Store, where handmade items will be for sale. Drop-in art lesson with Suzi Long! Come earn your CREATIVE LICENSE and paint the Noyo Bridge. No experience necessary! Learn a few tricks, enjoy the bridge view and have a great 2 hours in a beautiful new gallery!

Travel back in time and down the aisle at the Kelley House Museum during “Tying the Knot: Bridal Fashion Unveiled.” Featuring archival photographs, artwork, and historic wedding dresses worn by Mendocino brides from the mid-1860s to 1914, this exhibit showcases evolving trends in bridal styles: from a woman’s “Sunday best” dress to sequins and lace, from bright colors to pure white. You’ll even learn about a few Mendocino love stories along the way. Exhibit runs June 4, 2026 – August 31, 2026. Hours: Thursday – Monday, 11am – 3pm
Opening reception: Saturday, June 13th, 4pm – 5:30pm

In June Partners Gallery is showing the work of Pamela Hahn.
In this exhibit Hahn further explores her love of collage combined with encaustic paint. She has sourced elements from her stamp collection, fragments of family correspondence and pages from a
disassembled centuries-old dictionary and child’s reader.
Her paintings reflect her fascination with the ever-changing qualities of her garden and coastal environment.

The show opens June 11 and continues through July 6.
There’s a Second Saturday Meet the Artist June 13, 5-7pm.
The gallery is closed July 4th.

AMBLE & RAMBLE
A Walking Any-Book Book Club for Adults
Saturday, June 27 from noon to 1 PM

The Ukiah Branch Library is offering an Amble & Ramble book club. It will take place on the last Saturday of every month from 12-1 pm at the Great Redwood Trail. We will meet on Perkins St. near the old Train Depot.

Adults 21 and over are invited to participate. We welcome discussion and sharing about any book you are currently reading. No need to plan or pick up a designated book for this one – just show up when you can!

Caminar y Placticar
