SPACE (Near & Arnold’s School of Performing Arts & Cultural Education), in collaboration with our stellar partner Adventist Health, is thrilled to unveil a mesmerizing and heart-pounding extravaganza: "Unplugged…. just notice!" an original show focusing on the benefits and challenges of screens directed by Amanda Rosenberg-Gutierrez, featuring over 80 dancers ages 9-up.Back in 2017, Laurel Near and Amanda Rosenberg-Gutierrez interviewed and recorded the voices of SPACE students aged 8 and up and South Valley High School students. The questions included, “How is technology useful or helpful?” “What would you do if you woke up and technology didn’t exist?” “What do you like to do with friends and family when you unplug from screens?” These recorded testimonials became the pulsating heartbeat of the Unplugged soundtrack! Now post-pandemic, the 2024 version of the show is adapted by Rosenberg-Gutierrez.Adventist Health and SPACE teachers invite you to grab your family, friends, and imagination, and join SPACE for a dazzling celebration that transcends the boundaries of screens and embraces the magic of live performance!
