Join Fort Bragg Garden Club for its Annual Plant Sale on Saturday, April 27 from 10 - 2 at the Amerigas parking lot at 300 South Main Street. Native plants, landscape plants, herbs, vegetables and pots will be for sale. There will also be a Pop-Up Boutique with some choice items for your home. All proceeds will benefit the Garden Club’s scholarship fund and other community projects.

Calling All Local Artists!Pastels on the Plaza is an incredible local event held annually in Alex Thomas Plaza. Art, charity, music, business, and community unite the whole town in this Spring celebration. Featuring May Day dances, local entertainment and music, and beautiful artwork all around the plaza, Pastels on the Plaza is the year's local event. We are looking for local artists to draw in this year’s event.Artists are given all the supplies needed to create a work of art that will stay in the plaza long after our event has ended. This is a unique opportunity to give a piece of yourself back to the community in a spectacular array of colors. A meal and beverages are provided to artists. Climb to the top of Mendocino’s historic lighthouse!
Join volunteer docents at Point Cabrillo Light Station State Historic Park for the unique opportunity to climb to the top of the lighthouse tower and stand next to the historic 1909 Fresnel Lens. These tours happen only a few times a year, and are always a delight!
All the funds raised from these tours go right back into taking care of this park. Thank you!
- Tours are first-come, first-serve, no reservations- First tour of the day goes up at 11am, last tour of the day goes up at 2pm- $10 per adult, $5 per child (under 18)- All children must be over 42″ tall to climb the stairs- There are no babies or animals allowed on this tour- Tour guests must be able to climb three sets of steep ladders
Don’t forget about the half mile walk from the parking lot to the lighthouse! Give yourself plenty of time to arrive before our last tours of the day head up the stairs.

Point Cabrillo Lighthouse is located between the towns of Fort Bragg and Mendocino on the Northern California coast, about three hours north of the San Francisco Bay Area.

HSIMC’s spring fundraiser will be a Black and White Gala at Barra of Mendocino on May 4th. Tickets to the event are on sale now through April 21st. and include a catered dinner, provided by Black Dog Catering, live and silent auctions, and live music. Doors open at 5:00pm. North Coast Striders is pleased to announce that the 39th Annual Boontling Classic 5K footrace will be held on Sunday, May 5th, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Anderson Valley Elementary school in Boonville, California. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome.
Ribbons will be given to the top three placers in each of the ten age divisions, as well as plaques for first man/woman/non-binary. A post-race drawing will be held with prizes generously donated by local Anderson Valley businesses. All proceeds will go to the Anderson Valley Food Bank in Boonville, CA.
T-shirts are locally printed by the Anderson Valley Skatepark project and are in limited supply.

Join us on May 16 at the Ukiah Valley Conference Center for a Benefit Dinner for our all-volunteer disaster center. The purpose of the fundraiser is to finish raising the funds needed as a down payment for the purchase of our current location. This will permit us to continue serving the ongoing year-round needs of persons affected by fire, flood, storms, and other disasters.
Dinner is graciously provided by Ellery Clark Catering. Paula Samonte will be entertaining us and there will be a large and varied silent auction.
