All aboard the NEW AND IMPROVED Mushroom Train! Departing from Fort Bragg, journey deep into the redwoods along the legendary Redwood Route to Glen Blair Junction for an unforgettable forest experience.

This year features live bands, a deck with dancing and a DJ, and optional guided forest bathing.. Sip world class wines, beers, and a signature cocktail while savoring mushroom-based dishes. Then, head over to the campfires to roast your own hot dog or make your own s’more! The event also features winemaking and mushroom education tables - learn the ins and outs of both!

Upgrade your experience aboard our NEW Presidential Class Car and receive a guided spirit tasting and custom created mushroom tastes on your way to Glen Blair!

MdMCS presents Dia de Los Muertos Fall Fundraiser & Dance Party at Caspar Community Center on Saturday November 1. Two incredible local DJs will play, Syrius and BeetRoots and there will be a full bar and small bites offered by local chef Makkonen. The Rotary Clubs of Ukiah are hosting the 12th Annual Guitars for the Troops event on Saturday November 15. This fun event raises funds for several Veteran’s organizations. The Funky Dozen and The Hots will be playing while you’re dancing! Tables for 8 are $325 and individual tickets are $25. Antojitos Mary will be on-site with their taco truck! Doors open at 5:30.

The 15th annual Festival of Lights dazzles every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from November 28 through December 21, rain or shine, at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens.

​This 100% original, handmade light show features imaginative displays crafted by MCBG staff and volunteers. Wander through scenes sparkling with ocean waves, lighted jungle settings, shooting stars, playful jumping dogs, and a flock of flamingos—each display is designed to enchant visitors of all ages. A beloved holiday tradition and community celebration, the Festival partners with the Mendocino Coast Children’s Fund and other local nonprofits to ensure everyone can experience the magic.

​The FOG Holiday Cafe will be open with hot cocoa, apple cider, and sweet treats (cash and Venmo accepted). Strike a pose with Santa for a festive photo to remember! He will be waiting each Sunday in the cozy and cheerful canopy.

​Stroll the lighted pathways in support of the Gardens, bundle up, and explore the whimsical displays while celebrating the season with your community during this enchanting Festival of Lights!
