"Momím Wené: Medicine Water" tells a story of tribal relationships between the people and their waterways through the paintings, basketry, beadwork, and regalia of over 30 Native California artists, and including the Ukiah Valley Pomo.

Green is the subject of the Partners Gallery show beginning March 12,with gallery members exploring the color and the meanings of Green.There is green as new growth, as grasslands, lawns and the Plains. Works explore oxygen-producing oceanic plankton, the emanations of green light, snakeskins, personal ghosts and tentacles coiling out of an armchair. Media include painting, encaustic, mixed media, wet felt wool, painted porcelain, and woven cotton.
There is a Second Saturday Meet the Artists March 14, 5-7pm.
Gallery hours are Thursday through Monday 11-5pm.

This information will help us address issues with the public agencies that we count on to help us out in an emergency. Update on: acquiring a Red Cross trailer to be located in the city & on Fire Safe grants for emergency preparedness. Everyone is welcome. You don’t have to live in Point Arena to participate.
Drum Class 5:45-7pm then followed by Dance Class 7-8:30pm
~We study the same rhythm in both classes to learn it both with the drum and then the dance and study it for a full month to have the opportunity to ingrain.
~Come to drum class and follow it by dancing the same rhythm or stay and drum for the dance class. All people, all levels, all bodies are welcome

Mendocino Dance Project is offering free weekly dance classes for people with Parkinson's, their family members, and caregivers. Classes offer healthy and fun ways to build strength, coordination, balance, and stability all while using creativity and imagery to inspire movement. This program is made possible in part by The Community Foundation of Mendocino County’s 2025 Fund for Healthy and Inclusive Communities Grant.
