Oscar Wilde’s timely and beloved comedy “The Importance of Being Earnest” shows at the Willits Community Theatre from February 20 to March 8. Veteran Mendocino County director Maria Monti brings Wilde’s classical farce to life with an all-star cast. The play remains pertinent today depicting women taking power over their lives, while also making fun of money, status and characters who take themselves far too seriously.
