For a heartfelt comedy of what constitutes real value in life, Bakersfield Mist runs at Willits Community Theatre September 18 through October 4. In the play by Stephen Sachs, a hard-tongued trailer woman swears a thrift store painting she bought is a Jackson Pollock worth millions. She only has to convince an effete and opinionated art expert. Shows are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:00pm, Sunday Matinees at 2:00pm.
