"Momím Wené: Medicine Water" tells a story of tribal relationships between the people and their waterways through the paintings, basketry, beadwork, and regalia of over 30 Native California artists, and including the Ukiah Valley Pomo.

In April Partners Gallery is showing the mixed media works of Rachel Binah.
Rachel says:
“Having moved to Bend, Oregon to live on a farm with my family, I’ve been inspired by not only what is in my past, living on the stunning coast of Mendocino, but what is now my new home landscape of the High Desert in Oregon. I am still inspired by recycling discarded bits of paper, plastics and other materials. Some of these new pieces have sewn elements, and I am again inspired by using more colors than in previous work. My impressionist body of work is a tribute to the peaceful and meditative qualities that I feel when in connection to our High Desert.”

There is a Second Saturday Meet the Artist April 11 from 5-7pm.

Gallery hours are Thursday through Monday 11-4pm.

Teens and Tweens: bored? Wanna hang out with other teens? Are you hungry after school? Do you like chips, cookies, soda, or juice? Come hang out, eat yummy snacks, and meet other teens in the Teen Room at the Ukiah Branch Library Wednesday April 29 from 3 – 5 p.m.

Drum Class 5:45-7pm then followed by Dance Class 7-8:30pm

~We study the same rhythm in both classes to learn it both with the drum and then the dance and study it for a full month to have the opportunity to ingrain.

~Come to drum class and follow it by dancing the same rhythm or stay and drum for the dance class. All people, all levels, all bodies are welcome

Mendocino Dance Project is offering free weekly dance classes for people with Parkinson's, their family members, and caregivers. Classes offer healthy and fun ways to build strength, coordination, balance, and stability all while using creativity and imagery to inspire movement. This program is made possible in part by The Community Foundation of Mendocino County’s 2025 Fund for Healthy and Inclusive Communities Grant.

Celebrate five decades of Mendocino Land Trust’s remarkable conservation legacy at the Kelley House Museum. This exhibit reveals "behind-the-scenery" stories through archival photos and documents that show exactly how your favorite trails, wildlife habitats, and hidden beaches were acquired and continue to be preserved. From its humble roots as a grassroots movement to its role as a cornerstone of local stewardship, you'll see the passion that keeps our home wild and wonderful. Join us to honor the enduring commitment that has protected the beauty and natural history of Mendocino for the last fifty years.

Call for submissions for PRIDE art exhibit at Art Center Ukiah which will run June 5 through 27, 2026. Honoring the theme, "We All Belong," all are welcomed to show us your art! Protest poster art encouraged. Completed entry forms and all ready-to-hang work (NO sawtooth hangers) must be delivered for jurying to the Corner Gallery (201 S State St in Ukiah) on Tuesday June 2 between 11 and 5 or on Wednesday June 3 between 11 and noon. WINES & SPINES BOOK CLUB

The Beehive Restaurant

Adults 21 and over are invited to join our monthly book club Wines & Spines. We will meet at The Beehive restaurant in downtown Ukiah on the last Thursday evening of each month from 5:30-7 p.m., except for holidays when we meet on the third Thursday.

Studies show reading for pleasure reduces anxiety and increases our capacity for compassion. Join us for the long-awaited return of this popular book club for monthly discussions on thought-provoking books through a social justice lens.
