Septiembre 18, 2023 - En el programa de hoy tenemos una actualización de el virus del COVID y las enfermedades respiratorias de otoño con el Dr Andy Coren, el Oficial de Salud Pública del condado de Mendocino, seguido una conversación con Alma Galvan del Better Business Bureau, y terminamos con Valentina Petterson y las ayudas para negocios del Centro Latino West.
Victor Palomino came to KZYX-Z after working in community radio stations in North Carolina and Kentucky. Originally from Colombia, Victor understands the ways that community radio stations can amplify the voices of underrepresented communities and diversify community media. He was the Programming Director and Station Manager for RadioLex in Lexington KY, a bilingual community radio station where he created the foundation for Spanish language news coverage. He joined KZYX in June 2022 as Bilingual News Director, left briefly to work at Radio Bilingue in Fresno, and returned to Mendocino County as the KZYX Public Affairs Director, working with 36 program hosts who cover everything from marine ecology to local politics. He is also the bilingual reporter for the KZYX News.
