Travel back in time and down the aisle at the Kelley House Museum during “Tying the Knot: Bridal Fashion Unveiled.” Featuring archival photographs, artwork, and historic wedding dresses worn by Mendocino brides from the mid-1860s to 1914, this exhibit showcases evolving trends in bridal styles: from a woman’s “Sunday best” dress to sequins and lace, from bright colors to pure white. You’ll even learn about a few Mendocino love stories along the way. Exhibit runs June 4, 2026 – August 31, 2026. Hours: Thursday – Monday, 11am – 3pmOpening reception: Saturday, June 13th, 4pm – 5:30pm

Welcome to the 2026 Farmers Market Reading season! The Ukiah Branch Library invites families and folks of all ages to visit our reading station at the Ukiah Farmers Market every Saturday, May through October. This longstanding, volunteer-run program provides an hour of age-appropriate read-alouds to market goers from 10 – 11 a.m., weather permitting. We hope to see you there.
Please note that rain and/or temperatures exceeding 95 degrees Fahrenheit will cancel Saturday’s Farmers Market Reading Time. Join your guide, Genevieve, on a 2-hour walking tour of Mendocino Stone Ranch, the Mendocino Coast's hidden stone sanctuary. The tour will take place on Fish Rock Rd, in Gualala on Sunday, Nov 2nd from 12pm-2pm, weather permitting. Learn about the rich history of Mendocino Stone Ranch, take in our 30+ larger-than-life stone masonry art installations, including the Fish Rock Watchtower, learn about the artists behind the works, and the man who brought it all to life. $15-20 suggested donation, per person. The non profit organization, Mendocino Coast Jazz Society, hosts a "Jazz Jam" every Monday evening, from 6 to 9pm, at Tall Guy Brewing, 362 N Franklin St in Fort Bragg. Admission is free, and there is a Swing Dance lesson at 5pm

Drum Class 5:45-7pm then followed by Dance Class 7-8:30pm
~We study the same rhythm in both classes to learn it both with the drum and then the dance and study it for a full month to have the opportunity to ingrain.
~Come to drum class and follow it by dancing the same rhythm or stay and drum for the dance class. All people, all levels, all bodies are welcome
