To qualify, your area must be registered with MCFSC and cover a minimum of 5 properties with 10 piles minimum (up to 30 piles) per Chipper Day. Join ENG 503: Creative Writing for Older Adults with Lake County Poet Laureate Emerita Georgina Marie Guardado for the Fall 2026 semester at Mendocino College in Ukiah.

This course will introduce adults to a variety of creative writing skills, providing an opportunity to recall, organize, and share life experiences through written expression. Students will have the opportunity to sharpen both creative writing and computer skills, as well as interact with a supportive community of fellow writers. All ages and genres welcome!

~We study the same rhythm in both classes to learn it both with the drum and then the dance and study it for a full month to have the opportunity to ingrain.
~Come to drum class and follow it by dancing the same rhythm or stay and drum for the dance class. All people, all levels, all bodies are welcome
