The Ukiah Branch Library is hosting a Cold Weather Clothing Drive starting in November 2025 and continuing through the month of February 2026.
Donate your clean and lightly used coats, sweaters, scarves, hats, and belts to the Ukiah Branch Library. These items will be set out for individuals to find new-to-them clothing during this cold and wet winter season.

Urban Homesteading 101:Paths to Sustainability and Self-RelianceSaturday, November 8 from 3:00 to 5:30 PM
The Ukiah Branch Library staff invites the community to join us for a workshop series that will bring local homesteaders to the library to share their knowledge in four semimonthly, hands-on workshops. We will explore topics on herbal tea blending, sourdough bread making, mushroom growing, and beekeeping basics.The first workshop in this series, Herbal Teas for Winter Wellness, will be on November 8 from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m., and will be led by Annie Bright Waters. Participants will enjoy this hands-on workshop making herbal tea blends that will help you stay warm and healthy through the winter.
These workshops are free to the public, and reservations are required. Call 707-463-4490 to reserve your spot. This program is for participants 12 years and up. All materials will be provided. This event is sponsored by the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library and Mendocino County Library.

Agricultura Urbana 101:Caminos hacia la Sostenibilidad y la AutosuficienciaSábado 8 de noviembre de 15:00 a 17:30 horas
