KZYX Fundraiser: Amy Goodman, Host of Democracy Now!
Amy Goodman, much-awarded investigative journalist, executive producer and host of Democracy Now, will speak on behalf of KZYX on Friday, April 5th at 7 pm at SPACE Theater in Ukiah.
General admission tickets are $35 at eventbrite.com, Harvest in Fort Bragg, and the Mendocino Book Company in Ukiah. There will be a special VIP reception at 6 pm for $100, including a meet-and-greet with Amy, food, drink, and reserved seating. Space is limited.
All proceeds from this event will go to the KZYX Building Fund.

About Amy Goodman
A longtime supporter of KZYX and community radio around the country, Goodman is making her first foray to the West Coast since early 2020. Besides her KZYX appearance, she will celebrate KPFA’s 75th anniversary in Berkeley.
Democracy Now, also a daily television show, airs Monday-Friday on KZYX-Z from 4-5pm.
Among her many honors, Amy Goodman has received awards from the Associated Press, United Press International, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and Project Censored. Goodman received the first ever Communication for Peace Award from the World Association for Christian Communication. She was also recognized by the National Council of Teachers of English with the George Orwell Award for Distinguished Contribution to Honesty and Clarity in Public Language.
