The Willits Rotary Club and the Seabiscuit Therapeutic Riding Center (STRC) are gearing up for their annual
“Claws for a Cause” fundraiser to be held Saturday evening, August 30, 2025 at the “Howard House” lawn on the historic Ridgewood Ranch, home of the famed racehorse, Seabiscuit, just south of Willits. Proceeds from this event will benefit STRC with 10% to the Willits Rotary Scholarship Fund. STRC is a therapeutic horsemanship program dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities through teaching the skill of horsemanship to help with daily life. We provide services to residents of Mendocino and Lake Counties.
Guests will enjoy this beautiful setting with an evening of fine dining and live music.

Live music by The Back Porch Trio, dinner is prepared by Black Dog Farm and Catering to include Maine Lobster, prime rib and dessert.
