She graduated from Columbia University with a master's degree in journalism and from Northeastern University with a bachelor's degree in journalism.

My name is Michelle Frederick and I’m originally from Philadelphia, I came to Fort Bragg in August of 2018 to attend The Krenov School of Fine Woodworking. I was overwhelmed by the natural beauty here and fell in love with the area. I’m constantly hearing about the exciting people and projects that are happening in Mendocino County and I wanted to create the show, Putting Down Roots, to bring them to light and make sure more people know about them.

Ryan Finnerty is producer on Hawaii Public Radio's local public affairs talk show The Conversation where he reports on local and state politics, business, economics, science, and the environment. Before coming to Hawaii Public Radio, Ryan was an officer in the U.S. Army stationed at Schofield Barraks on Oahu. He graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in economics.

Jaclyn Driscoll is the Jefferson City statehouse reporter for St. Louis Public Radio. She joined the politics team in 2019 after spending two years at the Springfield, Illinois NPR affiliate. Jaclyn covered a variety of issues at the statehouse for all of Illinois' public radio stations, but focused primarily on public health and agriculture related policy. Before joining public radio, Jaclyn reported for a couple television stations in Illinois and Iowa as a general assignment reporter.
