While we eagerly await our vaccinations and the eventual reopening of concerts at Eagles Hall, we are feeding our hunger for live music with streaming performances. Now we finally have an opportunity to do a benefit for KZYX, thanks to the generosity and ingenuity of Alasdair and his agent Mike Green. This will be a ticketed, live concert performance, and a portion of the ticket sales through the following link will go to KZYX.

Please note that only sales through that link will benefit KZYX. There are some other organizations participating in this event. It's designed as a benefit for some of the concert promoters who have hosted Alasdair & Natalie over the years, and we're grateful to have been asked to participate.
Also please note this is NOT a Zoom or YouTube presentation. Mandolin is a new platform specifically for high-quality livestreamed concert performances.
You'll have to provide your own beer, wine, or cider though!
Alasdair & Natalie have a new CD, "Syzygy," featuring all new tunes composed by them. True to the equality of their musical partnership, half the tunes were composed by Natalie and half by Alasdair. Although all the tunes are new, the sound is immediately recognizable, with the complex interplay between fiddle and cello shifting so fluidly it becomes like a single instrument. It's a spectacular achievement in every way.
This promises to be a wonderful evening of entertainment, and I hope you will join us - and tell your friends as well.
