Oct 26, 2018 -- More than a hundred people attended Thursday night's meeting about additional dwelling units, or ADUs, in Fort Bragg's Town Hall last night. Building experts, financial whizzes, and a business advisor from West Company were among the speakers. The North Coast Housing Action Team, a group of volunteers affiliated with Healthy Mendocino, put together two panels, one on the details of building the units, and another on the economic side of things. We'll hear about the cost of permits, Fort Bragg's free plans, and what can be deducted when homeowners build a second unit on their property.
