Violence, Economic Despair in Detroit, Part 2

A recent report in Playboy magazine entitled "Detroit, Death City" claimed the Michigan city is "a global symbol for what happens when cities go bad, a byword for violent crime, urban decay and racialized poverty." The article continues to elicit extremely emotional responses. In the second of two reports on the story, NPR's Tavis Smiley speaks with Detroit police chief Ella Bully-Cummings.
