April 13, 2020--Dr. Drew Colfax says the Emergency Room has been very quiet, as Mendocino County residents are not coming in to the hospital seeking emergency health care during the shelter in place order, even when they really should. Dr. Colfax reassures listeners that it is still safe to come in for emergencies. With the numbers of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 still holding steady at 4 in Mendocino he is cautiously optimistic, but he warns that testing and monitoring must be increased substantially before it would be safe to open up the restrictions that have kept the coronavirus from spreading locally.
