February 11, 2019 — Eleven humans, two dogs and one mermaid startled the cormorants and mallards at Dolphin Isle on Saturday morning. It was the annual Polar Plunge, a fundraiser for the Mendocino Coast Special Olympics. We’ll stay warm and dry as we hear from several of the plungers, including some athletes, two unicorns, and, of course, the mermaid.
