Slight Break On Wednesday, Then Blistering Heat Until Monday

Slightly cooler but still hot inland temperatures can be expected on Wednesday with increasing cloudiness and fog along the coast. Another round of increasing heat is forecast throughout the interior from Thursday through the weekend while warm and pleasant conditions are expected along the coast.

On the seas, northerly winds will create small craft-advisory conditions in the southern outer waters until Friday. Gale force winds may occur over the northern waters.

And now, let’s take a look at your two-day forecast for Lake and Mendocino Counties…

The coast tonight will see patchy fog and clouds with lows in the low-50s. On Wednesday, the fog in Fort Bragg will clear to sunshine with highs in the mid-50s and winds from the northwest reaching up to 13 mph. That evening will see more fog with similar temperatures and wind speeds.

In Willits, the forecast calls for clear skies with lows in the low-50s. The region will see more clear skies Wednesday with highs in the upper-80s and similar lows.

In Anderson Valley, you should expect patchy fog and partly cloudy skies with lows in the mid-50s. The fog on Wednesday will clear to sunshine with highs in the low-80s. However, the fog will return that evening with lows in the low-50s.

For those in Ukiah, you should expect clear skies tonight with lows in the upper-50s. On Wednesday, the region calls for more clear skies with highs in the mid-90s. Expect similar nighttime conditions that evening.

Finally, the Lake County region will see clear skies with lows in the mid-60s and winds from the southwest reaching up to 10 mph. Clearlake Wednesday will be hot with highs in the upper-90s and calmer winds. That evening will remain clear with similar lows.
