Mendocino Dance Project is offering free weekly dance classes for people with Parkinson's, their family members, and caregivers. Classes offer healthy and fun ways to build strength, coordination, balance, and stability all while using creativity and imagery to inspire movement. This program is made possible in part by The Community Foundation of Mendocino County’s 2025 Fund for Healthy and Inclusive Communities Grant.

The non profit organization, Mendocino Coast Jazz Society, hosts a “Jazz Jam” every Monday evening, from 6 to 9pm, at Tall Guy Brewing Admission is free, and there is a Swing Dance lesson at 5pm

We will have a conversation about public resources that were supportive during and after the winter storms and those that didn’t meet our expectations. This information will help us address issues with the public agencies that we count on to help us out in an emergency. Update on: acquiring a Red Cross trailer to be located in the city & on Fire Safe grants for emergency preparedness. Everyone is welcome. You don’t have to live in Point Arena to participate.

More than 220 donkeys call Oscar's Place Adoption Center & Sanctuary home. Located in Hopland, California, Oscar's Place rescues and cares for donkeys in need, providing lifetime sanctuary. The number of donkeys Oscar's Place is able to care for is directly related to the number of people who support the organization. More information is available at oscarsplace.org.
