Join us at the new California Conservation Corps facility in Willits, right across from Howard Hospital. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
Hear from Yana Valachovic, one of the nation’s leading wildfire scientists, about how homes ignite and which prevention strategies actually work. Learn from United Policyholders, a nonprofit consumer advocacy group, about the state of wildfire insurance in California — what’s changing, and what you can do if your rates go up or your policy is dropped.
After the speakers, enjoy the fair with free pizza, hundreds of dollars in door prizes, fun activities for all ages, and booths from the Red Cross, FEMA CERT, Cal Fire, Little Lake Fire, Nuestra Alianza, the Mendocino Prescribed Burn Association, and many others.
