Whale Watching Walk (Greenwood State Beach Visitor Center)

Location: Greenwood State Beach Visitor Center & Museum, Elk
Cost: Free

Join California State Park Interpreter, Anica Williams, for a guided walk along the bluffs overlooking Greenwood State Beach. Binoculars provided to watch for the incredible Eastern Pacific Gray Whale. Discover more about our State Marine Mammal and their inspirational survival story! All ages welcome. Program will be canceled for rain, severe weather, or park closure.

Know Before You Go:
• There are no restrooms at the Visitor Center, the nearest ones are at the Day Use Area, across from the Elk Store.
• The trail includes uneven surfaces and is not currently ADA accessible.
• Sturdy walking shoes and layered clothing are recommended.
• Dogs are allowed on the trail on a 6-foot leash, but are not allowed inside the Visitor Center.
