Ukiah Gleaners presents: The Movie, The Gleaners and I
The Ukiah Valley Gleaners presents an award-winning documentary film, The Gleaners and I. The film about historic gathering of farm produce after the formal harvest, including interview with a wide variety of gleaners, including a Michelin 2-star chef. The documentary was an "official selection" of the 2000 Cannes Film Festival and won several major film awards. The film will be followed by discussion and sharing of locally harvested garden produce.
