FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The FlatWheelers Host Annual Spring Fling & Hootenanny at Tall Guy Brewing
Fort Bragg, CA — March 2026 — Northern California Americana and folk band The FlatWheelers invite the community to celebrate the arrival of spring at their Annual Spring Fling & Hootenanny on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Tall Guy Brewing, located at 362 N. Franklin Street in Fort Bragg, California.
The evening will feature live acoustic music and community dancing from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with Lea Smith serving as the featured dance caller. Smith will guide dancers through easy-to-learn traditional folk and contra-style dances, making the event welcoming for everyone—from first-time dancers to seasoned barn-dance regulars.
No prior dance experience is required. The caller will teach each dance before it begins, ensuring that everyone can join the fun. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends, family, and neighbors—or simply come solo and meet new people on the dance floor.
The FlatWheelers are known for their lively blend of Americana, old-time, and folk music, performed with fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, and bass that keep dancers moving and audiences smiling.
The event is open to all ages, making it a perfect evening for families, couples, and music lovers alike. There is no cover charge at the door, thanks to the generosity of Tall Guy Brewing and the band’s commitment to keeping community music accessible.
With the welcoming atmosphere of Tall Guy Brewing, the joyful spirit of live acoustic music, and the communal energy of traditional barn dancing, the Spring Fling & Hootenanny promises to be one of Fort Bragg’s most cheerful celebrations of the season.
