Old Fashioned 4th Of July
Old Fashioned 4th Of July
Hey Anderson Valley! The Old Fashioned 4th of July is back on again after being off a couple of years. The Volunteer Firefighters Association along with a lot of help of other non-profits are hosting this event at the Anderson Valley Brewery on July 4, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. This event is free to the public and we encourage you to bring your kids (adults are also welcome) out with their decorated bikes, wagons or whatever to the parade. Tune up your voice for the famous Chicken Crowing contest. Practice catching water ballons, hopping around on one leg and hone your watermelon eating skills! Our local cake bakers will be presenting their creations for the cake auction as well, so bring spending money to bid on these delights! The idea is to bring our community together, so come enjoy your neighbors and meet new friends. All money raised through donations and cake auction goes back to the community. See you there!
If you’d like to donate a cake, volunteer or help in some other way, please contact Sandy Mailliard at avvffa74@gmail.com
Parade sign-up is 12:00, Parade starts at 12:30.
