Two weird guys' take on Synth Rock, Funk and Hip Hop

For one night, the drums and synthesizers take over!

ANIMAL CONTEST is a different and energetic mix of live drums and synths coming to Spring Commons on Saturday, September 12th

This two-piece duo (Brandt Thiem on synths and Bojh Parker on drums) blends hypnotic synth lines, hard-hitting drums, funk grooves, and hip-hop rhythms into something that’s equal parts danceable, weird, and unpredictable. Colorful projections by Danny Griffin will fill the space with moving visual morsels. Joining them are dancers from Tyler Fossi’s Noyo Dance Co., with special guest Chef Boy R. Steve on the grill, handing out free food until it’s gone.

The show will be motorik, immersive, and unapologetic — two players, pure electricity with rhythm as the engine. -You can hear music anywhere but you can only experience whatever this is once.
