Join us for the launch of our newest exhibit featuring new work by Andrew Walker Patterson – hosted by Lansing Street Gallery. Artist launch party will take place October 7th 4-7pm at 10466 Lansing Street.

Andrew Walker Patterson strives to capture a place in the world. A place is many things, and it is always changing. His perception of that place is constantly shifting, too. He represents a place’s appearance; but he also captures its sense, its feel, and its underlying social structures. A place is not a distant landscape for aesthetic consideration only. It has a presence, and he is embedded in it. Andrew represents this by evoking its physicality and the way that it surrounds him.

He paints all along the coast, but his favorite views are around the Village of Mendocino. In the last several months, he has created 16 new paintings. We are delighted to host this exhibit through the month of October.
