Zoë Winter is a singer-songwriter from Sonoma County who pairs a rich and nimble voice with vulnerable and heartfelt lyrics, drawing comparisons to Laura Marling and Carole King. Her dear friend Daniel Steinbock will open the night, a singer-songwriter in the sublime lyrical tradition of Sam Beam (Iron & Wine) and Neil Young. Imagine if Walt Whitman had left New York as a young man and wandered West through tent revival spirituals and Delta freedom songs, to grow quiet and haikuist at the feet of giant California Redwoods.
