The Forest Health Extravaganza III is an all-day event at Harwood Hall in Laytonville put on cooperatively by numerous non-profits and government agencies. Presentations will begin with keynote speaker Kate Marianchild, author of Secrets of the Oak Woodlands, and include everything you need to know about forest health. In addition, there will be a native grass and gully erosion workshop in the afternoon next door at the Garden Club. Doors open at 9 AM with coffee, fresh fruit and baked goods, with lunch provided and the day will end with a barbecued wild pig feast.
