Confluence-Ten Mile River, Canto XXVIII
Confluence-Ten Mile River, Canto XXVIII
This is the 28th. Canto in Diana Marto's epic spirit play with paper and dance which began in Asia in 1982. The Cantos are site specific performance ceremonies with installations of related artworks with paper. Marto dances with paper, tells stories, and vocalizes. There will be 2 performances, one to take place in Marto's store front window installation, Friday August 5 at 6 pm and at Ten Mile River on Sunday, August 7 at 4 pm. Gather at Seaside Beach parking lot for a procession to Ten Mile River where the ceremony will take place. This Canto tells the story of lucky stones and an incandescent hot pink sizzle sunset.
Art work is on display through August 31. Gallery window installations are viewable 24/7.
