In June at Partners Gallery, Karen Fenley is showing a group of mixed media works exploring the meaning of our conceptualization of the universe.

So maybe the Big Bang didn't really happen the way we've been led to believe but it's a great metaphor for the process of bringing abstract ideas together and representing them in physical forms. In works like 'The Party's Over, Back to the Beginning, Earth from the Moon and the Witness, Karen Fenley's new paintings-constructions explore the marvel and confusion of what it is we think we know about our Universe.

The show opens June 8th and continues through July 3rd. There is a Second Saturday Meet the Artist June 10, 5-7pm.
Gallery hours are Thursday through Monday, 11 – 5pm.
