Of Butterflies and Bullies, by Ukiah author Jen Dalton, is a story for women and girls about friendships, break-ups, and the power of self-knowing, in the spirit of classic Judy Blume coming of age stories.

Of Butterflies and Bullies is based on Jenny’s real-life experience being bullied by other girls who she thought were her closest friends, and how she used journal writing to connect to her own power. Today, she facilitates groups and coaches individuals towards powerful change. She teaches and practices yoga; she mentors young women and helps support the education of girls in Haiti. She travels the world. She loves her life, and promises you it gets better every year.
