An evening of acoustic roots music unfolds at Willits Community Theater on Friday July 14 at 7:30pm with performances by madcap misfit musician Shovelman and New Orleans singer-songwriter Black Suzie. As Shovelman Isaac Frankle wields his lap steel guitar into future sounds of the Mississippi Delta blues. Black Suzie offers up enchanting, heartfelt melodies and lyrics reminiscent of Cat Power and Bjork. Tickets are $20 and available online at www.wctperformingartscenter.org or at the door.
