The Mendocino College Agriculture Department invites the community to its annual Fall Plant Sale on Friday, October 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Shoppers will find a wide selection of fall heirloom vegetable starts, California native plants, and drought-tolerant plants suitable for local gardens and landscapes. Whether you're planting a fall vegetable garden or looking for water-wise landscaping options, there will be something for every gardener. The Agriculture Department relies on proceeds from the plant sale to help fund educational programs, student learning opportunities, and department projects. By shopping at the sale, community members are directly supporting agricultural education at Mendocino College. For your convenience, the sale accepts cash, checks, and now credit cards.
