City increases contribution to Humane Society

The Fort Bragg City Council voted unanimously Monday night to use $18k left over from an underused account to fund the Mendocino Coast Humane Society. The non-profit animal rescue organization is preparing to fill the gap left by the closure of the county-run animal shelter next door.
