An interview with Mendocino County Sheriff Tom Allman concerning the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS).

In a live broadcast on KZYX Monday 10/7 at 3:00 p.m. Sheriff Tom Allman advised residents to ensure they have backup cell phone power, fill their gas tanks ahead of Wednesday, and have water on hand for cooking and cleaning to last 2-3 days. Allman said the county will open cooling stations if needed during the power outage, and may operate the emergency call station Tuesday evening if necessary.  He said there will be an updated announcement of weather and fire conditions at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, that will be available on the county website at www.mendocinocounty.org
