The Lake County Sheriff's Office has issued mandatory evacuations for both Nice and Upper Lake. Residents are advised to leave immediately. In Upper Lake, the Sheriff's office said to leave via Highway 20. Shelters are located at Lower Lake High School and Twin Pines Casino in Middletown.
Calfire reports tonight the Mendocino Complex fire is 30,500 acres as of 7:00pm. The Ranch fire is 16,300 acres and 5% contained. The River fire is 14,200 acres, and also 5% contained. Six residences have been destroyed and more than 10,000 are still threatened.
