The three incumbent council members on the Point Arena City Council were re-elected with the following vote tallies:
- Jim Koogle received 108 votes or 39.71%
- Dan Doyle received 106 votes or 38.97%
- Jeffrey Hansen received 58 votes or 21.32%
Four votes were cast on election day out of a total of 272 votes.

Three incumbent candidates ran for three open seats. Preliminary returns showed the following:
- Dan Doyle received 47 votes or 39.17%
- Jim Koogle received 43 votes, or 35.83%
- Jeffrey Hansen received 30 votes or 25%
