The Far Out Halloween Costume Party, October 31st from 6 to 11 pm at the Anderson Valley Grange in Philo. The Blackhorse Blues Band will be playing live music with local DJ Nasty Nate. It is a Fundraiser for our Grange building fund. Haunted Maze, Costume contest, Raffle, Food and Beverage available. Childern under 10 free, Adults $12 suggested donation.

Arena Theater's Halloween 2025 party
Mama Grows Funk is a Northern California seven-piece collective delivering high-energy funk and soul with a community-centered spirit. Since forming in 2017, they’ve lit up festivals, weddings, and community events with irresistible grooves, soaring vocals, and infectious rhythms inspired by Stevie Wonder, The Meters, Anderson .Paak, and The Bamboos. With appearances at the Mendocino Music Festival and Summer Arts Festival, Mama Grows Funk continues to spark powerful connections between musicians and audiences, turning every performance into a joyful, dance-filled celebration.

The Halloween party will feature costume prizes, donated by local businesses.

Hot Buttered Rum returns to Willits in a benefit concert for the School of Adaptive Agriculture, celebrating the farmers and chef, gardeners and cooks who tend the land and feed us. New Orleans inspired food, beer, win and cocktails and a 'Second Line' starting at Northspur Brewing add to the festivities. Indiana Slim and the Kingsnakes open the night. A Silent Auction features local foods, crafts and getaways.

MdMCS presents Dia de Los Muertos Fall Fundraiser & Dance Party at Caspar Community Center on Saturday November 1. Two incredible local DJs will play, Syrius and BeetRoots and there will be a full bar and small bites offered by local chef Makkonen. Award-winning songwriting duo Bug Guts, aka, Rosebud and Scott Ireland, bring their witty, humorous, and uplifting musical craft to the coast for an evening of acoustic fun and frolic at the beautiful Caspar Community Center.

The non profit organization, Mendocino Coast Jazz Society, hosts a "Jazz Jam" every Monday evening, from 6 to 9pm, at Tall Guy Brewing, 362 N Franklin St in Fort Bragg. Admission is free, and there is a Swing Dance lesson at 5pm

The non profit organization, Mendocino Coast Jazz Society, hosts a “Jazz Jam” every Monday evening, from 6 to 9pm, at Tall Guy Brewing Admission is free, and there is a Swing Dance lesson at 5pm

Drum Class 5:45-7pm then followed by Dance Class 7-8:30pm

~We study the same rhythm in both classes to learn it both with the drum and then the dance and study it for a full month to have the opportunity to ingrain.

~Come to drum class and follow it by dancing the same rhythm or stay and drum for the dance class. All people, all levels, all bodies are welcome

Thursday, Sept. 11th, 6:00-7:30pm: Inland Valley Women’s Chorus begins its 32nd season, meeting at the Holy Trinity Church, Mary & Martha Room, 640 S. Orchard Ave. (next to the DMV) in Ukiah. IVWC sings harmonious songs of peace, joy, social justice, and healing. New members are welcome! No audition or prior experience required.
