Drum Class 5:45-7pm then followed by Dance Class 7-8:30pm

~We study the same rhythm in both classes to learn it both with the drum and then the dance and study it for a full month to have the opportunity to ingrain.

~Come to drum class and follow it by dancing the same rhythm or stay and drum for the dance class. All people, all levels, all bodies are welcome

Paint Your Own Pizza Plate at Slam Dunk Pizza 🍕

Join us for a fun and creative evening of pizza, pottery, and community at Slam Dunk Pizza in Ukiah!

In this special Paint-Your-Own Pottery event, you’ll customize your very own ceramic pizza plate—perfect for serving homemade pizzas, displaying in your kitchen, or gifting to your favorite pizza lover. Whether you’re an experienced artist or haven’t picked up a paintbrush in years, we’ll provide everything you need to create a piece that’s uniquely yours.

After the event, we’ll take your plate back to The Clay Pot Ceramics Studio to be professionally clear glazed and kiln fired, making it food-safe and ready for years of pizza nights to come.

Mendocino Dance Project is offering free weekly dance classes for people with Parkinson's, their family members, and caregivers. Classes offer healthy and fun ways to build strength, coordination, balance, and stability all while using creativity and imagery to inspire movement. This program is made possible in part by The Community Foundation of Mendocino County’s 2025 Fund for Healthy and Inclusive Communities Grant.

Bilingual Storytime!
With the Ukiah Branch Library
Saturdays at 11AM

The Ukiah Branch Library invites families with children of all ages to attend our newest weekly Storytime every Saturday at 11 a.m. This bilingual English/Spanish Storytime will introduce young learners to the most important basics of early literacy, including reading, talking, singing, and playing. Join us for half an hour of songs, books, rhymes, and of course, wiggles, followed by time for bubbles and play for kids and caregivers alike. Come check it out!

La Biblioteca de la Sucursal de Ukiah invita a las familias con niños de todas las edades a asistir a nuestra nueva hora del cuento semanal, todos los sábados a las 11 a. m.. Esta hora del cuento bilingüe (inglés/español) introducirá a los pequeños en los fundamentos más importantes de la alfabetización temprana, ¡incluyendo la lectura, la conversación, el canto y el juego! Acompáñenos durante media hora de canciones, libros, rimas y, por supuesto, mucho movimiento, seguida de un tiempo para jugar con burbujas y divertirse, tanto para los niños como para sus cuidadores. ¡Venga a conocerla!
