Redwood Valley Rancheria Annual Spirit Run and Walk
Redwood Valley Rancheria Annual Spirit Run and Walk
The Redwood Valley Little River Band of Pomo Indians Indian Child Welfare Act Program is once again proud to announce our annual “Spirit Run & Walk.” This event occurs every year during the month of April in recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
This year’s gathering is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Redwood Valley Rancheria Carla Gutierrez Village Learning Center, 3250 Road I, Redwood Valley, California.
The Spirit Run & Walk is open to all and is a drug and alcohol-free event. It is also an educational and cultural event that our Tribe takes pride in hosting and is a wonderful opportunity for our rural Mendocino County communities to support, share and celebrate our unique and diverse cultures.
Registration for the Run and Walk begins at 8:30 am. The Run and Walk starts at 9:00 am.
Local agencies and vendors are invited to attend this event so that you can provide information about your programs to our community members. Please bring your own tables, chairs and easy ups. The suggested arrival time for vendors is 9:15-9:30 am.
Donations of raffle items and food sides are always greatly appreciated!
If you have any questions and would like additional information, please feel free to contact me at (707) 391-1389 and icwa@rvrtribe.com.
We hope that you can join us for this event, and we thank you for your support!
Kind regards,
Chris Piekarski, Indian Child Welfare Act Director
