Jug Handle Creek presents the Creatures That Spook Us Educational Series
This fall, Jug Handle Creek Nature Center invites community members and visitors to meet The Creatures That Spook Us, a free monthly three-part educational series featuring experienced educators, live animal ambassadors and hands-on artifacts. More than simply learning facts, these engaging presentations are designed to challenge assumptions and inspire a shift from fear or dislike toward curiosity, appreciation, and respect.
Owls & Native Birds — Saturday, November 14 at 1 p.m.
Learn from Native Bird Connections and meet their non-releasable ambassador birds about bird behavior, adaptations, and the responsibilities of caring for wildlife while experiencing these animals up close. Touch artifacts, including feathers, feet, wings, and skulls.
