Build a Wreath Workshop
Build a Wreath Workshop
Friends of the Gardens (FOG) invites you to join a hands-on wreath-making workshop! In this two-hour “make and take” class, you will craft your own one-of-a-kind wreath using beautiful natural elements. Add a touch of holiday cheer to your home while enjoying the fresh, fragrant greenery of the season. All proceeds support the Gardens—so you will leave not only with a festive creation, but also with the joy of giving back.
The Details:
The class will include instruction, fresh greenery, ribbon, and tools for you to create a wreath to take home.
Bring pruners (if available) and garden gloves.
Be prepared for cool temperatures in our unheated Propagation House and dress appropriately.
We also recommend comfortable shoes and a refillable water bottle.
Your participation in our workshops, walks, and events directly fuels our education programs, makes free school field trips possible, and helps people of all ages and backgrounds build meaningful connections with plants and the beauty of the natural world.
