Commission makes no recommendation on proposed prohibition zone

"I didn't know there were cartel dogs." Juan Gamino, owner of a property on Road D, the location of a cannabis farm that would have to move within three years if a cannabis prohibition zone is approved.
The Board of Supervisors chambers was full yesterday, as the Planning Commission punted on a proposal to create a special zone that would prohibit cannabis cultivation in downtown Redwood Valley. They voted to move the matter along to the Board of Supervisors without making a recommendation one way or the other.
