January 20, 2020 — The Ukiah Women’s March on Saturday drew over 100 people, some wearing the iconic pink pussy-hats from the 2016 march and carrying signs with paintings, puns, pungent comments and even a miniature quilt. Yellow roses commemmorating the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment were also abundant.
The issues, as always, were diverse, ranging from celebrating women’s suffrage to demands to remove Trump. We’ll hear highlights from women young and old, about what's important to them, personally and politically.
