Mendocino County tourism strong, cannabis to be included in new marketing plan

Una Wirkebau of the Greater Ukiah Business and Tourism Alliance, and Travis Scott of the Mendocino County Tourist Commission agree that it's "California lifestyle" that draws tourists to Mendocino County. That lifestyle includes participating in all kinds of recreational activities, enjoying the beauty of the coast and the redwood forests, attending a variety of events, visiting wineries, and -- as of January 2018 -- experiencing legal cannabis. Next year, the goal is to include the cannabis industry in the county's marketing plan.
