The Northern California crab fishery suffered major economic losses, multi millions of dollars during the 2015-2016 season, when it was closed part of the season due to high levels of the neurotoxin domoic acid detected in crabs. It was declared a fisheries disaster and federal relief is finally in sight. However, it might not be enough. Fisherman Scott Hockett explains.
