$2 Million Raised For Fire Recovery In Mendocino County

When the October firestorms hit Mendocino County, theCommunity Foundation of Mendocino County sprung into action and immediately started raising money for the fire victims and community fire recovery efforts.  Years of preparation for a disaster paid off and the foundation has so far raised about $2,000,000.  President and CEO Megan Barber Allende discusses the Disaster Fund and the foundation's fire recovery plans.
