The Grist Creek Aggregate asphalt plant along Highway 162 and Outlet Creek in northern Mendocino County had a turbulent start and its future is not yet clear. Within its first few month, the owners were hit with multiple county and state violations and litigation by a group of neighbors called Friends of Outlet Creek.
